WHY MSCS?
Questions I hear all the time:

The simple answer is that there is about a 15 year "bubble" of experience in the industry created by a series of recessions and subsequent cost containment measures implemented by the industry over the 1990s and into 2000s. A large portion of that experience has since either retired or expired.
There are, however, a few of us that remain, who were fortunately mentored by many industry legendary experts and exposed to the breadth of products, disciplines and markets in the industry. We are willing and anxious to share our experience in order to assist those who will drive the industry in the future.
Hence the creation of Metal Smart Consulting Services or MSCS.

With all carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminum products ( including flat rolled & long products, extrusions & finished products )

Employment & experience includes - primary steel mill (Stelco Inc - Hamilton, Calgary, Edmonton), steel service centres, end users, toll processor & industry associations
Primary steel production, sheet processing, plate cutting (laser, waterjet, plasma, shearing), plate flattening, polishing, prefinishing, tinplated, galvanizing & electrogalvanizing just to name a few.
Trained in Metallurgy, ISO, XRF Analyzer Operations (Level 2), Health & Safety (Levels 1 & 2), American Management, Quality Control, Certifed Technical Representative (CTR - CSC - Construction Specifications Canada)

By being a seasoned industry representative, with an objective perspective based on over four decades of experience in a range of markets, products and variety of disciplines.
